Biography
Kit Sebastian Connor is a British actor who has steadily built an impressive career since beginning as a child performer. Born on March 8, 2004, he has been acting professionally since the age of eight, earning recognition for his versatility across film, television, and voice acting.
Kit made his screen debut in 2013 with appearances in Chickens and An Adventure in Space and Time, the acclaimed BBC drama chronicling the origins of Doctor Who. Over the next several years, he appeared in Get Santa, Rocket’s Island, Mr. Holmes, The Frankenstein Chronicles, War & Peace, Grantchester, The Mercy, and SS-GB, establishing himself as one of Britain’s most promising young actors.
In 2018 and 2019, Kit’s profile continued to rise with roles in Ready Player One, The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society, Slaughterhouse Rulez, Little Joe, and Rocketman, in which he portrayed a young Elton John. He also began voice acting, lending his voice to Pantalaimon in the BBC/HBO fantasy series His Dark Materials.
Kit achieved international fame after being cast as Nick Nelson in Netflix’s coming-of-age romance Heartstopper. Premiering on April 22, 2022, the series became a global phenomenon, receiving widespread critical acclaim for its heartfelt storytelling and LGBTQ+ representation. Kit’s nuanced performance earned particular praise and quickly established him as one of the breakout stars of his generation. Following the show’s success, Netflix renewed Heartstopper for two additional seasons concluding the series with Heartstopper Forever.
Beyond Heartstopper, Kit has continued to expand his career with major film projects and theatre opportunities. In 2024, Kit made his Broadway debut in Romeo & Juliet, starring alongside Rachel Zegler, further demonstrating his range as a dramatic actor.
